On Tue 18 June 2019 - hosted by the "RVA Lions Sporting Community & Supporters Club" - the Mid Atlantic PREMIERE film screening of new Aussie comedy "The Merger" was held at Richmond's historic Byrd Theatre (which weaved together themes of football, community & refugees).

This event was a collaboration with several local charities/agencies who assist with local resettlement of genuine refugee families.
